The best Sunday roast I've had in years. Great quality hot food and plenty of it. The staff were friendly and efficient and there was a good choice of drinks. We will be going back and soon. Thank you to the Chef and waiting staff for a fabulous Sunday lunch.

Had a great day here today for Mother’s Day, the manager even added 2 extra relatives for me at the last minute. Food and service was great. George Michael act was so good Even got a few free Mother’s Day cocktails, Great place, would highly recommend Been here a few times now and never disappointed xx

Excellent Sunday roast celebrating Christmas early with two family’s we could not fault anything and I’m fussy when it comes to a roast dinner out, everyone was perfect lovely beef, lamb shank, chicken and pork belly hug Yorkshires and crispy toast potatoes. The waffles were to die for and they had to deal with dairy free and vegetarian’s options in our party and a 19 month old we all thoroughly enjoyed our food, company and the atmosphere of a village pub. Excellent food and service. Good selection of beers and wine. First Christmas dinner of the season with 8 others. Food arrived hot and timely. Garlicky garlic prawns with toasted baguette slices, traditional Christmas dinner with Yorkshire pudding (?), tasty Christmas pudding with sauce and strawberry slices. Good gluten free options done with thought and care. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely pub good staff The food was outstanding, fish crispy and not fatty , light and fluffy chips . Ham egg and chips, ham was cooked to perfection ( not rubbery and dry) eggs just right. Good price and large portions. Highly recommend.

Lovely pub in a traditional English village. Visited this pub twice while on holiday in East Anglia. The food on both occasions was first class. The pub has a charming old world feel and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would thoroughly recommend The Plough to anyone visiting the area.

I can't fault the staff in any way. All the staff was so lovely and attentive. We have never come before and despite having a large group they was able to accommodate us without any issues. Keira, maisie, Leanna and Reneta was a pleasure to meet. The staff behind the scenes was also amazing as we couldn't fault any of the food or drinks we were given. Thank you for an amazing experience. We will be back again

The menu is always the same could do with a few specials but always great food a presented well great place to eat

lovely food the lamb shank could have done with seperage vegetables to go with it, as just the shank and chips was a bit bland as didnt like bubble and squeak. also no red wine sauce for the lamb as run out

Superb meal and very warm welcome. We especially loved the pies – really something special. Ambience in the restaurant, a little dingy. On reflection would’ve been nice to sit out the front as it was glorious sunshine but didn’t think of it until the end. Love the Heineken Silver – unusual to find it on draught.
